Join Sarah Weisman and Shari Polis for a fun, funny, and ‘punny’ week. Campers rewrite the musical Grease to take place at Olympus High with the stars of Greek Mythology. Sing, dance, and act through Grease’s greatest hits like “Summer Nights” and “Greece Lightening.” Campers write the script, rewrite the songs, and make the sets and costumes. Culminates with a final show at the end of the week!

Explore combining basic one-of-a-kind monotype prints with etching techniques, such as drypoint, relief, and collograph to make a portfolio of prints. You will experience basic printmaking concepts in a fun, informal way, and learn to use nontraditional materials such as acetate sheets, styrofoam, cardboard and paper. Non-toxic inks and cleaners will be used.

Then they will work to design and build a mixed media painting of their own, while going through the steps of creating a work of art from research, sketching, under-painting and layering.
